Some of you may know what Roxy is up to lately and for those who don’t, we are NOW travelling around the states in Malaysia in search for a girl, aged 18 to 28 years old to represent Malaysia for the global Roxy “
Let The Sea Set You Free” contest.
Ultimately, Roxy is searching for three of the most intriguing, fun, engaging, daring and media savvy girls
IN THE WORLD to experience this life-changing adventure which includes
a trip to Biarritz, France, receive up to $5,000 USD, be outfitted in head-to-toe Roxy products, host Roxy video segments as a face and voice for Roxy and jet set on another SURPRISE trip.
The search in Malaysia started from 14th March 2012, in Roxy Midvalley and just last Saturday, 31st March 2012, was our last stop for Klang Valley in Quiksilver, Suria KLCC. For those of you in Klang Valley who missed us, NO FRET! You can still submit your application via online at facebook.com/ROXYMALAYSIA. All you have to do is just submit 2-3 photos of yourself and tell us what makes YOU a Roxy girl in 150 words (max). OR if you feel that you need to get away from the city this weekend, do visit our store in Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka on 7th April 2012, as it would be our LAST stop for you to enter in person at our Quiksilver and Roxy stores.
20 girls selected from all the submissions from Malaysia will go through multiple workshops such as surfing and grooming as a foretaste experience of a Roxy girl before competing with the rest of the finalists from other countries whom are competing to be the final three Roxy global winners. Furthermore, the Malaysian representative will win a one week holiday to Bali, Roxy wardrobe worth RM2,000, a Samsung Galaxy Nexus worth RM2,099 from U Mobile and a Make up course worth RM1,800 from Snips College Creative Arts. There will also be 5 consolation prize winners who will win themselves a RM500 worth of Roxy products and a HTC Desires S worth RM1,599 from U Mobile.
