The Quiksilver In Memory of Eddie Aikau.

After a 5 year break, the Bay has called the Day.
25th Anniversary of the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau is back and on!
Surf is 20 feet and clean at Waimea Bay. The world’s best big wave surfers will be surfing all day in hour long heats.

As the result came on...

Greg Long won his first ever Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau in incredbily dramatic fashion.
The San Clemente, CA big wave surfer charged massive bombs that poured through the Waimea lineup the final heat and used all four of his final scoring waves, including a perfect 100 on by far the biggest wave of the day, to come from way behind to move past Kelly Slater.

Chilean psycho Ramon Navarro also scored a perfect ride and won the Monster Drop Award, by making an incredible air drop backside and riding to the beach.
